pump.fun's own token burned roughly 370 million dollars of supply over nine months and still traded flat, below where it launched. burns did not save it, and they will not save us. we do not put a number on any of this. the first burn matters because it is real and checkable, not because of its size.
the average memecoin is held for under a minute and almost none are alive after ninety days. we are not going to out-hype anyone. we are going to still be here, still telling the truth, including the parts that do not flatter us. surviving loudly is the whole plan.

the creator's locked seven percent unlocks on august 1. twelve days later, on august 13, ghost month begins: the season when the gate to the spirit world opens and the ghosts return. the scariest date on this token lands right at the threshold of the one festival this whole thing is built around. so we do not hide it and we do not spin it. we tell it straight, and let the calendar tell the rest.
the guard. the honest supply breakdown stays exactly as blunt as it is on the site. this framing sits beside the disclosure, never in front of it, and it never once says the season makes the number go up.
the site says the ghost feeds you and you feed the ghost. both of those are on-chain, and one of them is already happening: the cashback that flows back to everyone who trades, every trade. we are going to put both flows on one page, what has been fed to the ghost and what the ghost has fed back, so the exchange is a thing you can check, not a slogan you have to believe. you do not have to trust us for it. it is all on the chain, both ways.

most communities treat a locked developer as the enemy. ours has a creator who bought his share, locked all of it within ninety seconds, made it impossible to cancel or move, and has never sold a single token. that is more honorable than most launches ever manage. so when his tokens unlock, we recognize that plainly, and we leave the door open: if he ever wants to lock them again, burn some, or just say what he plans, the community would welcome it.

in the tradition you burn paper money so it reaches the other side. one day the merch might include real ghosti spirit-money you can actually burn during the festival, bridging the on-chain burn and the practice it borrows from.

the moment we were most afraid of, turned into the moment we earn the most trust. we told you the date. here is exactly what happens, on-chain, live, whatever it is: if he holds, we show it. if he re-locks or burns, we show the new contract, verified. if he sells, we show that too, with no spin and no panic. we told you this could happen.

on july 16, phantom's own verified account asked, out loud, whether you can tokenize a ghost. the tweet is here. by the time they asked, the answer was five days old and already on the chain. that is not a claim on them and it is not a blessing from them. it is a question we happen to be living inside, and this is the arc where we try to deserve an answer to it.
a single object, made well, before anything else exists. no drop, no pre-order, no allocation, no waitlist. if the first one is not good, there is no second one.
color variants, a small cast, the little bit of world-building that turns a mascot into something you recognize on sight and can tell apart. a character before a character brand.

short animations. the ghost with a walk cycle and a couple of seconds of personality. the farthest thing on this whole map, and the one that would mean it worked.
none of this ladder is our invention, and we are not going to pretend it is. a penguin community put plush toys into walmart, target and walgreens, over a million of them, through an ordinary toy licensee, then built games and a cartoon on top. a solana character whose founders came out of real animation houses got a properly animated series onto prime video and apple tv. other communities, no relation to us, already proved the road exists. what none of them did, and what we would be the first to try, is fund the burn from the merch itself, which is exactly why we call this part vision and not plan.
there is a version of this where phantom, one day, launches their own official ghost token. if that happens, here is what this community is, plainly: the first people who cared about the character, an unaffiliated fan project that was there in the first days, kept honest receipts the entire way, and never once claimed to speak for them. we would have no grievance and no claim on anything. we were the fans who showed up early and told the truth. that is a good thing to have been, and the receipts would still be true the next morning.
