where ghosti goes, and why the order is the only one that makes sense. everything here is tagged for how real it is. nothing here is a price promise. read it, and hold us to it.
the one rule over everything
a burn is a vision until its transaction exists on-chain. no exceptions, on any part of this map, ever. the word “will” is not a receipt.
proven-ready every fact it needs is confirmed. it can happen today.
buildable real, nameable work stands between here and there.
vision honest distance. an intention, never a fact.
what is true about this project
four things, and everything else follows from them.
there are no team fees. there never will be.
the creator fee goes to the people trading, not to us. so every burn we ever do is funded by money we earned, bought on the open market, and posted with its transaction. we are not a machine that burns by itself. we are a community that earns, then feeds the ghost, and shows the receipt.
burns do not move the price, and we will not pretend otherwise.
pump.fun's own token burned roughly 370 million dollars of supply over nine months and still traded flat, below where it launched. burns did not save it, and they will not save us. we do not put a number on any of this. the first burn matters because it is real and checkable, not because of its size.
honesty is how we keep people, not how we get them.
the average memecoin is held for under a minute and almost none are alive after ninety days. we are not going to out-hype anyone. we are going to still be here, still telling the truth, including the parts that do not flatter us. surviving loudly is the whole plan.
we are a fan project, and we are not asking phantom for anything.
no permission, no partnership, no post. if they ever look our way it should be because the community built something worth looking at. we use none of their art. the ghost here was drawn for this project.
the moves
four ideas, and how each one could go wrong.
we show you the failure mode for each, because a plan that hides how it breaks is just a promise wearing a costume.
the threshold
vision
the creator's locked seven percent unlocks on august 1. twelve days later, on august 13, ghost month begins: the season when the gate to the spirit world opens and the ghosts return. the scariest date on this token lands right at the threshold of the one festival this whole thing is built around. so we do not hide it and we do not spin it. we tell it straight, and let the calendar tell the rest.
the guard. the honest supply breakdown stays exactly as blunt as it is on the site. this framing sits beside the disclosure, never in front of it, and it never once says the season makes the number go up.
the two-way ledger
buildable
the site says the ghost feeds you and you feed the ghost. both of those are on-chain, and one of them is already happening: the cashback that flows back to everyone who trades, every trade. we are going to put both flows on one page, what has been fed to the ghost and what the ghost has fed back, so the exchange is a thing you can check, not a slogan you have to believe. you do not have to trust us for it. it is all on the chain, both ways.
the guard. the burn side reads zero until the first burn transaction exists, and it says so. we would rather show an honest zero than a number we cannot back.
an open hand to the creator
proven-ready
most communities treat a locked developer as the enemy. ours has a creator who bought his share, locked all of it within ninety seconds, made it impossible to cancel or move, and has never sold a single token. that is more honorable than most launches ever manage. so when his tokens unlock, we recognize that plainly, and we leave the door open: if he ever wants to lock them again, burn some, or just say what he plans, the community would welcome it.
the guard. never a demand, never pressure, never a word about what he owes the price. his tokens, his call. we told you the date either way.
spirit money 冥币
vision
in the tradition you burn paper money so it reaches the other side. one day the merch might include real ghosti spirit-money you can actually burn during the festival, bridging the on-chain burn and the practice it borrows from.
the guard, and this one can be killed. joss paper is sacred, not swag. this ships only if someone who lives the culture signs off that it honors the tradition rather than using it. if there is any doubt, it does not happen, and that is a fine outcome.
the road
now, the unlock, ghost month, after.
now
the days to the unlock
the job of right now: turn an active account into a community with a ritual, and get the honesty machine running before the unlock so the unlock is expected, not a shock. read this part top to bottom. it is the story in order.
01
who the ghost is.proven-readythe character first, the name second: phantom named this ghost at the world cup, and our one job is to make it a household name.
02
the books open.proven-readythe exact unlock, 69,651,741 tokens, seven percent, august 1 at 04:00 utc, locked so it cannot be cancelled or moved, pinned with its proof, next to a promise: on the day, we show the creator's wallet transaction by transaction, whatever it does.
03
the loop, shown.buildablethe two-way ledger: the cashback already flowing back to you, and the burns, honestly zero until the first one.
04
the open hand.proven-readyrecognizing the creator's conduct, once, warmly, with zero expectation.
05
the plush, and how we would never touch your money.visionif a real plush happens it runs on a platform that holds the money and ships the goods; the community never holds your funds. the teaser and the guarantee are the same sentence.
06
the feeding, as a habit.proven-readyfeeding the ghost starts as attention, not money: a daily gm in english and chinese, a weekly receipts post, a weekly poll. the ritual muscle built now, so a real burn later lands in a practice that already exists.
07
the road to the gate.visionfrom here, every week counts toward two dates at once, the unlock on august 1 and the opening of ghost month on august 13, so that by august the ghost's return reads as the opening of a season, not a disaster.
we are small, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. 98 in the group as of july 15, up from 78 two days before. the room fills while the chart falls, which is exactly the kind of thing this whole map is built to earn.
the unlock
2026-08-01 04:00:00 utcproven-ready
the moment we were most afraid of, turned into the moment we earn the most trust. we told you the date. here is exactly what happens, on-chain, live, whatever it is: if he holds, we show it. if he re-locks or burns, we show the new contract, verified. if he sells, we show that too, with no spin and no panic. we told you this could happen.
what we will not do. we will not tell anyone to buy. we will not coordinate a price defense. we will not claim anything cushions the drop. we will not put a number on the price. the only honest thing to say about the price is nothing.
ghost month
aug 13 gate opens · aug 27 the festival · sep 10 gate closes
the cultural heart of this whole thing, in season. the festival's core act is feeding the forgotten, hungry ghosts so they find peace. that is, exactly, our mechanic. we are not borrowing a costume for a month. we are, structurally, doing the thing the festival is for.
the guard that governs everything here. this is not chinese halloween. its heart is remembrance and care, not fright. so during the season the playful voice steps back and the offering voice steps forward, and nothing in chinese ships without someone who lives the culture signing off. we are a guest. we behave like one.
proven-readythe festival's own burning days, the gate opening, the peak, the gate closing, become the community's calendar. a real ritual cadence, not a marketing schedule.
buildablethe native chinese arc, extending the festival section already on the site, reviewed line by line by a fluent speaker before anything ships.
visionthe first real feeding, if merch profit exists by then and clears the dust floor, executed as an offering and posted with its transaction. a festival with a real first feeding is the best version. an honest “not yet, here is why” is still a good one. a fake burn to hit the date is the only bad one.
after
the brand era
be the thing that outlives the chart. almost nothing does. surviving ghost month with the honesty intact is what earns an after at all.
visionthe merch line becomes the engine that funds the feeding, if the first drop sells and ships clean. nobody has funded token burns from real merchandise before. we would be the first, which is the promise and the warning in one sentence.
visionthe ledger compounds. every feeding is a new row, every trade adds to the cashback total, until the exchange is a months-long record nobody can fake because it is all on-chain.
visionany acknowledgment from phantom, earned over months by being a clean and additive community, never asked for. they have boosted a community memecoin before. the way to earn it is to deserve it and keep not asking.
visionghosti, a name people know without being told it. slow, earned, real. it is the one job.
the long arc
the question they asked, and the brand we are trying to earn.
on july 16, phantom's own verified account asked, out loud, whether you can tokenize a ghost. the tweet is here. by the time they asked, the answer was five days old and already on the chain. that is not a claim on them and it is not a blessing from them. it is a question we happen to be living inside, and this is the arc where we try to deserve an answer to it.
one plush, made properly
vision
a single object, made well, before anything else exists. no drop, no pre-order, no allocation, no waitlist. if the first one is not good, there is no second one.
the character family
vision
color variants, a small cast, the little bit of world-building that turns a mascot into something you recognize on sight and can tell apart. a character before a character brand.
collectibles, and the bridge to the real
vision
figures, cards, the kind of physical thing that can carry a code on the box back to the community online. the point is never the object alone, it is the object as a doorway.
ghosty on a screen
vision
short animations. the ghost with a walk cycle and a couple of seconds of personality. the farthest thing on this whole map, and the one that would mean it worked.
none of this ladder is our invention, and we are not going to pretend it is. a penguin community put plush toys into walmart, target and walgreens, over a million of them, through an ordinary toy licensee, then built games and a cartoon on top. a solana character whose founders came out of real animation houses got a properly animated series onto prime video and apple tv. other communities, no relation to us, already proved the road exists. what none of them did, and what we would be the first to try, is fund the burn from the merch itself, which is exactly why we call this part vision and not plan.
the outcome nobody plans for
there is a version of this where phantom, one day, launches their own official ghost token. if that happens, here is what this community is, plainly: the first people who cared about the character, an unaffiliated fan project that was there in the first days, kept honest receipts the entire way, and never once claimed to speak for them. we would have no grievance and no claim on anything. we were the fans who showed up early and told the truth. that is a good thing to have been, and the receipts would still be true the next morning.
